Flagstaff & Sedona

We rented a cabin and spent two nights up in Flagstaff with the Pestka family over the break.  On the way up we stopped at Montezuma's Castle and had a picnic lunch.  

 The next day the boys did the Flagstaff Extreme course.  

It was a birthday present to Jack, and he LOVED it!!!

 We stopped on the way home in Sedona to see my mom and Rick and take a hike.

I think it is funny that Howie is on the phone with a client.  What a beautiful office!

We had a nice few days, and it was great to get away from home!  

Spring Break Begins!

 Our Sunday dinners are normally early and heading home to be ready for Monday, but not this week... We got to play and relax!

Painting

Howie and I went to paint with his real estate team.  You bring your own drinks and they give you a painting lesson.  Although we both agreed it was a one-time thing for us, we had a great time.

 Mine is on the left, UGH!  Howie totally followed the lesson and his is on the right.  We laughed at how different our painting were.  Mine turned into some gothic mess.  I wish I had some artistic talent!

Running

Jack and Julianne have been running in the running club this year.  This is Jack's third year and Julianne's first.  Here they are at 7:30 in the morning!

Jack was the third runner overall to come in for the 5K.  Some man (who was crazy good) and Nathan beat him.  We were so proud of him!  He really enjoyed it, and Howie told me later that he gave it everything he had and Jack still beat him.  This was a first for our boy!

Howie and Jeff Lyster (Brandt's dad) have been doing a bunch of running together.  

I think they love to run as much as their boys do!

Howie and Jack also ran another 5K together last month.

Eleven Years!

 Howie and I celebrated eleven years on February 15th!  We went out to eat at Ahso's where they cook in front of you and, NO joke, Greg and Kim happened to be there too.  Not planned, but it turned out to be so fun that they were there!  

I am very blessed to have good man who loves me and my kids with all he's got!

Here's to another memory-filled year!!!

A sweet little weekend

 This girl has been reading ALL the TIME!  I am so proud of her!!!  She got second place in her class and won a sweet little stuffed animal that she was dying for.  You go, Julianne!!!

I let the kids play in the water and it was only the end of February.
