Party in the Park

Jack asked if he could have a friend party this year and Howie and I agreed.  When we asked him what he wanted to do he told us that he wanted to play in the park with his buddies.  It turned out to be a fun time playing soccer, dodge ball, and capture the flag.  We also ordered pizza and enjoyed Aunt Missy's cupcakes!  Jack told us on the way home that it was the best party ever.  He also had a few friends email him to say they had a blast at the park.  What a cheap and fun party he wanted!!!

Jack turned 9!

Sunday, January 19th was Jack's 9th birthday.  We had pancakes and presents in the morning.   We got him a frisbee golf set, running shoes, water guns, and basketball hoop from Craigslist.  He really wanted one, but we wanted to see how it went before we spent a bunch of money.  Truthfully, it has been a ton of fun and all of the neighbor kids are enjoying it too!  During the day we went to see Frozen at the theatre and we had a family dinner at the house later.  Jack requested pesto chicken parmesan, and Aunt Missy brought yummy cupcakes!

I LOVED Mason's excitement with the hoop.

The girls put on my heels and danced a bunch.

Jack wanted to light his own candles this year.
My darling boy making a wish.

My sweet love cleaning up after dinner.
It turned out to be a wonderful day filled with fun memories.

A New Soccer Season for Jack and Julianne

Julianne started another season with Francis as her coach.  She sure enjoys chatting with Addison.

Jack started on the Dragons with the Pestka brothers.  They are really having a great tie together!  He had a sweet goal in his first game!
