Thanksgiving Weekend... a little late!

I just realized that I never posted these! Yikes! Howie's family came up, and we had a wonderful time with them. We had Thanksgiving dinner at Kyle and Cindy's new house. We went to the zoo with them, and we went to Glendale Glitters which was a zoo too! The kids did the bungee jumping thing, and I held my breath! I also took my niece to see Breaking Dawn. It was a wonderful weekend with family! We also took Jack to do the ice skating "thing" at Desert Ridge.

Zoo Day

I just found a file of pictures that I forgot! Hello! Thanksgiving! The weekend before Thanksgiving we took the kids tot he Zoo. Since we renewed our membership they gave us free tickets, and the kids got to ride the camel. Super fun for them! We also found the Boa Constrictor, and Julianne put on a show for us. We have been to the zoo So many times, but we have never seen the horses. It was an awesome zoo day for our family.

Gingerbread House 2012

The kids got along wonderfully while putting this together. It set the tone for a great Christmas season. Well done Rea kids! I honestly did not do anything but watch and give ideas.

The Train Park and Arizona Puppet Theatre

We had a great day! We took the kids to ride the train and have lunch at Sweet Tomatoes. Then we went to see the puppet show of The Elves and the Shoemaker. It is one of my favorite books to read to the kids at Christmas time. The show was great for Julianne, but a bit young for Jack. He said he still liked it, but Howie and I were ready to fall asleep. Time together is what it is all about!

Julianne's new bike attachment

We have been doing a bunch of bike riding now that Julianne can ride tandem. I have been riding my new beach cruiser that Howie got me for an early Christmas gift. So he has been riding my bike with the attachment. Julianne loves it. We love that she is a part of the group.

Jack's first bus ride and field trip

I took the day off of school to go with Jack's class to the Wildlife World. Zoo. They have been studying animals and this was their final activity. SO FUN! I stayed with Ethan's mom and her group and the boys had a blast!
