Thanksgiving

We left on Wednesday and headed to California.  We decided to stay in a hotel this time, and it was so fun!  The hotel had the best breakfast buffet and the pool and gym were outstanding.  We got to spend lots of time with the Rea family and it was fun to get to know Neal's fiance, Anna, better.   

Thanksgiving morning we all ran a 5K turkey trot.  Kiera and Brenna stayed with Julianne at the park.

Then, we went to Sue and Brian's for a feast!  (Pictures are on my new camera)

The following day we went took Lauren, Daniel, and Matty out for burgers, to the zoo, and went back to play at their house all night.  

 On Saturday we went to Lacy Park and played all day with the family.  The park is easily the best park our family has every been to.  We played a game of baseball with a small ball and stick.  After, we got take-out Chinese and ate at Marshall's house.  

On Sunday we made our way back to Phoenix.  It was a great trip!!!

Jack's first badge

Jack received his first badge in cub scouts.  Howie had taken Julianne to girl scouts, so I got to represent him.

Fall Camp Out

Our family took our first camping trip at the end of October.  We had a great time with the cub scout pack, and created fun memories!  The photos are all on my new camera, but the USB cord broke.  I will upload photos later once the new one comes in the mail.  

State Cross Country Meet

We grabbed some Subway and headed out to see the runners compete.  It was very exciting for Jack and his buddies! 

 

Halloween 2015

We started the day at trunk or treat.  Jack had to do trash clean-up for cub scout community service.  The Boteilhos met us up there and we trunk or treated with them once Jack was done.  Then the Pestkas came over and we had chili and went trick or treating.  It was a great Saturday!!!

Jack was going to be a knight, but changed into some ninja duds and Jules was a ladybug.

Cub Scout Day in Tucson

I drove Jack and a few of his friends down to Tucson for the day in the middle of September.  The boys had a blast learning how to tie knots, build with wood, fix leaking sinks, emergency responding and science with rockets.  

Fall break

We drove with the Pestkas to Prescott first and had a picnic with a family-against-family game of football.  Then we fished at Lynx Lake the rest of the day and headed up to Sedona for dinner.  The following day we hiked, hung around by the creek, and ate dinner at Javelina Cantina.   (More pictures to come)

Julianne's Well Check

Eight years and healthy!  Dr. Padrez said she is doing wonderful!

Julianne turns 8! 9-4-15

She started the day opening a few gifts.  Then, we had a friend birthday party for her at Great Skate.  

The following day I took her to the American Girl store where she got Kit, and we went to lunch together at Benihana.  That night we had a family dinner that concluded with a cookie cake for our little gal.
