My dad flew in to stay with our kids at my aunt and uncle's while Howie and I left for a few days in San Francisco! We took the P.C.H. drive thru Carmel and Monterey and stopped to see these elephant seals along the way.
We had some lunch and then headed out to Alcatraz. I loved the history.
We ended the tour starving! We headed around Pier 39 looking for a place and ended up at Bubba Gumps. We laughed because we landed there, starving, on the first night of our honeymoon 10 years ago!
The next day we rented a tandem bike and biked across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausillito. It was BEAUTIFUL!
We took a ferry back to be on time for our next tour.
We took a tour of Muir Woods. The redwoods were incredible, and our tour guide was so informative!
After an incredible seafood meal we took a trolley car over to Chinatown. We picked up a few things for the kids and said our final goodnight to the city. We had an amazing time together, loved up on the alone time, and certainly celebrated 10 years of marriage in style!
Our kids did not lack for fun either! They rode horses at the ranch, went to the fair, and had a blast!
