The Rea Family

We started out the New Year with breakfast. Howie's favorite (he got it for his birthday) Peanut Butter Captain Crunch! The kids were in heaven.

Then we went to see Howie's brother Marshall and his family, Manisha, Neal and Nolan at their resort. I know I have said this a few times, but I LOVE Howie's family. They are SO much fun to be with. When we got their the kids opened some presents.

Julianne wanted to change right into her new Tinkerbell pajamas.

Then, we headed out to the pool. You could only say that in Phoenix in the middle of the winter. Marsh, Howie, Nolan and Jack had fun in the water. Manisha and I talked and read our books by the pool, and Neal stayed back at the room and made reeds for his oboe while listening for Julianne to wake up from her nap. (she took close to a four hour nap which is her personal record)
Jack loved the slide and had cousin Nolan do it with him a TON of times.
Then, they went in the lazy river, which Jack thought was a bit boring compared to the slide.
He decided he would rather swim down the river, but lovely daddy walked his raft just in case he wanted to get back in.

After the resort we went to Howie's other brother Kyle's house for dinner.
Our kids got more presents. (the benefits of a big family)
